We believe in the Biblical mandate to give a tithe (10%) of our increase back to the Lord (who owns it all anyways). We also believe in the importance of special offerings; to go beyond what is expected and give above our tithes. This is one of the many ways that God uses to expand His Kingdom and impact in our community through ILPC.

 

“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
