Kevin Minchey became the sixth Senior Pastor for Indian Lake Peninsula Church on December 1, 2022.  Kevin and his wife, Laura, come to ILPC after serving the TN Baptist Mission Board,  for the last 4 years.  Kevin has pastor several churches in Tennessee and Georgia with his last pastorate at FBC Shelbyville.

Kevin and his wife Laura married in 1991 after he graduated from Belmont University.  Kevin received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, KY.  They have one daughter, Anna, who is married to Drake and they are the parents of Abram.

Pastor Kevin has a heart for to see Jesus transform lives, and Hendersonville impacted by the Gospel. His desire is to see ILPC become a place of gospel-centered worship, community, and service. His heart for the nations is evident in his communication and leadership, engaging regularly with local and world missions, and leading ILPC to do the same.
